Celery Farm Algae Bloom Warning Signage
At the request of the state DEP, yesterday afternoon I put up a few signs notifying the public of an algae bloom in Lake Appert.
Since no humans use the lake (except when it’s frozen) and I’m told the bloom poses no threat to wildlife, the signs are probably no big deal, but thought folks should be made aware of them in advance since nobody likes a surprise.
That’s all I know.
