CACKLING GOOSE UPDATE

   Lake Appert was frozen this morning, and there were no geese to be found. There were, however, four — count 'em, four — foxes roaming the ice.
   Tomorrow, I will post some photos that Jerry Barrack took of the foxes over the weekend, with links to Kevin Watson's new fox photos.
   I took the shot pictured here at 7 this morning — it's not in the same league as the pix to come.
