Building a Bird Menace in Meadowlands?

The Record's Scott Fallon has an excellent story in The Record today about the thoughtless design for the American Dream" mall that has taken seemingly forever to be built in the Meadowlands.

The new redesign is big on windows — in an area that is a major flyway for migratory birds.

I have written a few times about this problem in my column for The Record.

    It is so frustrating to see this monolith to greed and mediocrity continue lumbering on and on! This is a huge white elephant which lines the pockets of those who are getting hundreds of millions in tax breaks so the land can languish. Now they are going to make it dangerous to migrating birds? WHO are theses people? Maybe they want to fail so they can keep cashing in…some better minds must prevail here. Someone has to stop it.
