Brush-clearing Near the Butterfly Garden

Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I have been clearing some of the invasive underbrush (and overbrush) that has been getting out of hand near the Butterfly Garden.

Today, some yellow flowers were in bloom. I wish I could remember their name.

    Nice job. Thanks, looks great. If I wanted to be ‘deputized’ as a ‘Marsh Under-Warden’, is there some kind of ritual I’d need to go through? (Meaning, when you guys are doing one of these projects, please give me a call and I’d be glad to help out if I am not busy with something else.)
