Thanks to Fred Weber, I saw a (very distant) Brant at the Celery Farm on Thursday.
Fred had seen it Wednesday but I couldn't find it until today. (Thanks, Fred!)
When I saw it, it was across the Big Ditch from the Pirie-Mayhood Tower.
The past two days have been great for ducks (and coot).
I have seen: Wood Duck, Northern Shoveler, Ruddy, Pintail, Gadwall, American Wigeon, Mallard, Ring-necked Duck, Green-winged Teal, Mallard and Black Duck. I think that's 11… Not to mention the meat goose.
