Attention: Bear Scat Experts
After hearing reports of bent bird-feeder poles north and south of us, and recalling our nyjer feeder pole was pulled sideways about a week or two ago, I noted the above scat in our backyard and now wonder if it could be bear scat, and if not, what might it be.
If it is the former, it would run counter to the traditional "in the woods" wisdom.
Anybody want to weigh in? Thanks, and sorry for the indelicate photo.

Well it looks like no one is taking this seriously…s**t happens. If I were you I would not bother asking all of these dingleberries for any help from now on!

I really should put a coin next to it for a sense of scale. Mary, can I borrow a quarter?

Looks like the dog poo I pick up in my yard every day. If it’s not dog poo, I would go with a coyote or smaller mammal like Fox.
