A Young Peregrine on the Ascent
Yesterday in the Mohonk Preserve near New Paltz, N.Y., Chris Nadareski of the NYC DEP released four young rehabbed peregrines,…
Did an invigorating walk in the nature preserve and saw all kinds of native plants, apple blossoms peaking, a Green Heron, a Pine Warbler and a Blue Jay that the eBird sound app ID'd as a Red-tailed Hawk.
So nice to visit when the preserve is quiet.
The Pine Warbler has been at the Wright-Finn feeders sporadically for a week.
Another birder photographed a Pileated. Hoping to share the picture.
I love spring at the farm. Feast for the eyes and ears…and soul
