As I walked past the first bench along Lake Appert heading counter-clockwise along the Allendale Brook at 7:10 a.m. tiday, I saw a Bald Eagle leave a perch along the lake and fly toward Phair's Pond.

Previous days, I have seen an Osprey perch in that same vicinity.  The Osprey usually stays put (I took the photo below on Thursday morning).
