A Snowy Walk Around the Celery Farm
Got up in time to be the first person to walk in the Celery Farm this morning. Not many birds — they were at my feeder. Did see a Winter Wren though, up by the Brotherton Bridge.
Made these shots black-and-white because they might make my other photos look more colorful.

I like how the perspective and the whiteness of the snow makes the ground seem smaller and more insular; even isolated or separate. The lack of definition on the ground gives structures like the platform and the bridge more presence breaking up the monotony.
