A Red-shoulder with a Carry-out Meal

Every Sunday morning, several local birders convene at the Warden's Watch or the Pirie-Mayhood Tower to see how many bird species they can see or hear in exactly one hour.

During this morning's Hour on the Tower, Alan Pomerantz hoisted his camera just in time to get this fleeting shot of a Red-shouldered Hawk with a frog in his talons.
