A Look Inside Tuxedo Park

The Northwest Bergen History Coalition had its annual luncheon last week at the Tuxedo Park Club  in the famed gated community just to our north.

This is how the other 1 percent lived (it up).

The crazy tennis court located in a building nearby is where the very rich still play court tennis. Someone said that Henry VIII played court tennis way back when, and the U.S. only has three such courts. Could be true. More about Court Tennis here.

Yes, that's Marsh Warden Mike Limatola (in the white shirt, on the tennis court). He went undefeated against some tough competition.

    Love this club. Have had many dinners here with friends who belonged. Oldie but goodie.
