We did not see the Thrasher on the walk, but he does like to hang out in tose trees of late. Check up the chaneel for the teal. I guess the warblers are a little late, but they are starting to arrive all over now, from what I’ve seen and read.

Before I passed the group a second time on Saturday, I saw the Brown Thrasher singing on the tree tops by the butterfly garden. Just to mention something I don’t see on this list, though I know he’s been mentioned on the site already. I’ve seen him in that area a few times this year, usually low in the shrubs with his back turn to me.
Where was the green winged teal spotted? That’d be a first for me.
Also, is it me or are the warblers running late this year? I feel like I was spotting much more on my walks last year around this time of year?
