A Coupla Monday Mysteries Answered
On Monday I posted this photo from Bear Mountain State Park last month and asked who it was.
Congrats to Tom Mitchell and Janet Terchek for correctly IDing this Red Eft.
A week earlier, I asked what was going on in the photo above. The answer: Eight Mallard ducklings tare staying warm and cuddling against a feather duster at the Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital. They had been rescued from a storm drain and were awaiting transport (by me) to The Raptor Trust.
Congrats to Marianne H. and Ginny C. for IDing the situation correctly, and a nod to Mike L. for his bad pun.

I love the whole feather duster idea. One of my favorite things is creativity in the face of crisis. Keeping calm and applying what you know in a creative way to make things better.
