Nature Done Wright

The Record's website has a neat story about a recently posted YouTube video that champions growth for Bergen County ("County on the Move").

It shows, among other things,  how celery fields have given way to the Garden State Parkway, and how hundreds of acres of "wasteland" (marsh) is being used as a landfill in Overpeck Meadows.

The video is a bit long (15-minute) but a nice window into the mind-set of the so-called good old days.
