Wood Duck Box Clean-out
Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I cleaned out five Wood Duck boxes on Lake Appert today and placed new wood chips in them. Tree Swallows looked like they are ready to nest — if not nesting already.
Saw a Virginia Rail on the lake near No-Name Culvert, and heard the Red-shoulders.
Saw a giant Bullfrog (below) when we were returning the rowboat.
