Nature Done Wright
Incorporating the Celery Farm and Screech Owl Companion blogs
Winter Scenes
For anyone who didn't get a chance to see the Celery Farm under a soft blanket of snow yesterday, Seymour Drakes thought he would post a few pix.
The photos featured in the extended part of the post are in black and white; Seymour didn't want to waste all those color pixels on a monotonal landscape (as opposed to monotonous landscape, he hopes).

This was taken looking south from the first bridge you see as you walk around the CF counter-clockwise from the Franklin Turnpike parking lot…
Best,

would like to know where in Celery Farm this picture was taken.
Looks like a stream in Woodcliff Lake between the Woodcliff Lake School and Pascack Road. I used to go there when I was a kid. Near a H U G E rock. So tall I couldn’t climb up it.
Always wanted to paint the picture of stream in woods, but never did.
Wanted to paint it in springtime w/leaves out.
