Nature Done Wright

    Saw several dozen waxwings at the Celery Farm on Friday, munching on berries near the trail along the Allendale Brook.
    These  little birds are both quiet and mysterious — you can go weeks without seeing them, and
suddenly you’re in the middle of a waxwing convention.
    Especially when there are berries around.

     Note the neat yellow tips on the tail feathers in the lower photo.
