VIDEO: ‘Screech Owl Jamboree’
This 3:34 minute video is my favorite — a screech owl family seen over four months, with great bluegrass music by the Hunger Mountain Boys and great images outside the nesting box taken by Jerry Barrack.
Cute baby screech owls, and some amazing photography.
Much of the video is via a miniature infra-red camera inside the box.

Just got back from London. And there is a baby owl peaking out of the house. Plus I got a photo of one sitting in the tree with the mother owl. That makes at least two babies I know of. So
far, no predators. I will email you the photo of the baby in the tree. Wildbird unlimited never emailed about coming out and taking photo’s. And I am glad. This is the second year they have chosen me and I feel privileged and want to keep it that way.
