TNC’s Kay Center: Part 1
On Saturday, the Celery Farm's Tom Mitchell and I helped lead a nature photography walk at The Nature Conservancy's Kay Center headquarters in Chester, NJ.
Our group saw 12 species of butterflies during the 90-minute walk, and i saw several more on a later walk along the park's extensive trail system.
The park is open from dawn till dusk and features a terrific butterfly garden and fields filled with Bee Balm and Golden Rod and milkweed and Butterfly Weed …
Chester is about an hour's drive but a great place to spend a morning or afternoon.
