THE SEYMOUR REPORT

   

Stephanie Seymour reports:

    It was a GORGEOUS day today, and lots of people were out. I did a loop around CF and also spent some time on Pirie Platform during the Hour from the Tower.    
    My best highlight was on the Scout Platform as a ruby-throated hummingbird sat very close by on a tree
branch.

   Also, a black and white Warbler (female of juvie) was foraging with a few chickadees in the Dead Zone, right after walking north over the wooden footbridge.
   A Carolina wren was minding its little baby who was hopping around a tree, and a parent mockingbird was
being chased around by 2 of its babies begging for food.   
    Two Eastern Kingbirds were catching insects near Pirie Platform during the Hour.
