The Hackensack River revival
The Record ran my big Hackensack River story today on the front page.
I have a link to it below, but I have to say that it’s a lot better in print, in the newspaper, with all the photography by The Record’s Beth Balbierz and a great two-page layout inside the paper.
The aerial photography provides views of this amazing river that few have seen.

What a great, interesting and really informative article. A few years ago, I attempted to Kayak and launch at the Meadowlands, but I was so afraid of tipping, I put the boat back on the roof and headed to the Wallkill River. This gives great hope for a revival! Terrific writing, too!
