Sunday Sundries, Part 4

Coot

   

Birders have reported seeing a coot on the thawed Lake Appert in recent days.
   When I walked out to the point today, there he was, swimming off the Warden’s Watch.
   The weather was too overcast to get a good shot of his red eyes.
