Storm Birding

_MG_1276
In the middle of the hurricane, birds have been hitting my feeders — even a hummingbird.

Four other species: Blue Jays, Tufted titmice, (4) Black-capped Chickadees and two Downys.

Suet was very popular, bit the seeds went quickly as well. The sugar water, not so much.

Who knew?

Same by me, Jim! I’d considered taking down the tube feeders, thinking no birds will be out in this weather. Boy, was I wrong! The feeders were full of birds, including a hummer, who I hadn’t seen yet this summer! Plucky little birds!
