Owl, Trap and Mouse
My "Screech Owl Companion" co-author, Scott Weston, photographed an incredible prey capture on his owl cam. The whole story is…
At approx. 5:30 p.m. yesterday, I was standing in front of the Warden's Watch, minding my own binoculars, when I felt a sharp pinch just below my knee.
I looked down to see the culprit — an agitated Canada Goose.
When I tried to shoo it away, its mate came flying in.
I retreated to the Warden's Watch, where I got the above photo from above.
The geese are probably nesting there, so beware.
Will put up yellow warning tape.
Hope you didn’t lose too much blood. ?
Goose ache. Watch out
Pook stays inside!
You were lucky this time, with just a flesh wound! Beware mating geese
Does Pookie com out there to watch the birds too??
