Snapping Turtles Gone Wild!

Watch Out for Snapping Turtles at the Celery Farm.
 
It's annual egg-laying time, so please drive carefully along Franklin Turnpike by the Celery Farm.
 
Snapping Turtles may also be seen along the Celery Farm trails. Give them a wide berth.
 
They aren't called Snapping Turtles for nothing.
 
Please keep your distance. They are wild animals. Leave them be, and you'll be fine.
 
(I saw at least seven Snapping Turtles this morning. These photos were taken today. I was going to place a quarter next to one of them for scale but thought better of it.)

    I saw 2 this morning in Saddle Brook creak. One was swallowing a big fish.
