MMM: Snake Eating Fish at Celery Farm

One of the highlights of Saturday's free guided walk was a close-up look at nature's food chain.

Some of us had just been talking about how we had seen some strange stuff over the years — a bullfrog eating a gosling, for example, and a Red-shouldered Hawk eating baby Snapping Turtle), when we happened upon a Northern Water Snake slowly consuming what appears to be  a fish.

I guess the Monday Morning Mystery is what kind of creature the snake is eating.
