Saturday: Free Walk@8, Allendale Day, 10-4

Join Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and me for a free guided nature walk in the Celery Farm on Saturday at 8 a.m. We'll even look for the all-white Gray Catbird if you like.

At Allendale Day from 10 to 4, Fyke Nature Association is sharing a booth with the Fell House. We'll be handing out our new CF brochures, selling the nifty 2014 calendars, and some "Duck Enoughs" and "Icky the Hungry Herons" — proceeds from the books go to the Fell House.

I will be on hand from 10:30 to noon with copies of "The Nature of the Meadowlands" for anyone interested in a copy. I ran out of copies at last Friday night's presentation… (All proceeds from the book benefit edcational programming in the Meadowlands.)
