It was a very pleasant and birdy morning at the farm today. Highlights:

-Rusty Blackbird–a nice "rusty" looking bird near Barking Dog Corner–skating on the ice–first one I've seen this year…

-Winter Wren (2)–one near the stream by "LeConte's Lane,, the other ji-jipping away and showing well near the Scout Platform–doing "push-ups."

-Golden-crowned Kinglets–several heard only–first for the year.

-also: Red-tailed Hawk, TVs, Carolina Wrens, 8+ Downy WPs, incl. a trio together…
