   What a morning at the CF. What started out as a very slow day turned
out to be one of the more exciting ones I’ve had at the CF.
    Congrats to
Jim "Crane" Kuehlke for spotting his lifebird! Glad to see that many
were able to make it over in time to see it after we started the
phone-chain.
     This is the 3rd Record for the CF, and the 2nd spring
record. The first record was back in May of 1998, and happened to be my
lifer!
   This Crane has the honor of being the first one
photographed at the CF!

Highlights:
-Sandhill Crane (3rd record for the CF)
-American Bittern (continues — seen in flight)
-Cliff (1) and Bank (1+) Swallows
-(very distant) Bald Eagle
-Yellow-billed Cuckoo–my first seen in NJ this year.
