Reports about our local Red-shoulders are coming in hot and heavy.

John Pastore sent in the above photo of a Red-shoulder perched near Ivers Road.

Mike Limatola reported four over the weekend near Phair's Pond, and Bill Kempey reported three.

I saw a pale-chested Red-shoulder at the end of Pittis near Myrtle Ave., and again later at Pittis and Franklin Turnpike.

But we still have located the nest.

So keep and eye out, and also look for Red-shoulders with leg bands. Photos welcome!
