A Pileated Woodpecker Stops By!
I hadn't seen a Pileated Woodpecker all year. Now — thanks to some friends — I saw one twice in one day.
Bill Drummond called to let me know I had a Pileated outside my house this afternoon,
It was working the dead trees along the Spillway.
