A young peregrine was strafing sandpipers at the Celery Farm this morning — and I missed it.

Fortunately, Alan Pomerantz was able to get a photo of it from the Warden's Watch.

In the enlarged shot below, you can see the unpainted metal federal band and the black/green metal state band.
