  A similar program I attended last month produced no owls outside, but I did get to see a screecher and a barrd owl up close during the program.

  I would think there’s be a good chance of hearing a great horned owl on Sunday, since it’s right around breeding seaon…

Tenafly Nature Center:Owl Prowl

Sunday, January 13: 5-6:30 p.m.

New Jersey is filled with night life and one of the more audible creatures of the night are its owls. After a short discussion about these winged wonders guests will meet a live owl. Afterwards we will go outside for a walk in search of our night time feathered friends. Program intended adults and families with children 5 years and older. Space is limited!
