  I came across the following program and signed right up, and it sounded interesting enough to pass along to fellow owl enthusiasts. Here’s the program notice, verbatim:

Owls of New Jersey
Hosted by Tenafly Nature Center & Weis Ecology Center

Friday, December 7, 7-8:30 pm

   Join naturalists from the Tenafly Nature Center and Weis Ecology Center for a HOOT of a good time.

After an introduction inside, participants will meet some LIVE nocturnal hunters, native to NJ. We will continue outside to listen for the stylish vocalizations of our local inhabitants. 

Program is intended for adults and families with children 13 years or older. Program will be held at Tenafly Nature Center. Pre-registration required.
