NJCF Celery Farm Walk 050110
The New Jersey Conservation Foundation, the folks who played an instrumental role in saving the Fell House, led a nature walk at the Celery Farm this morning.
Led by Emile DeVito, the group saw and heard all sorts of neat birds, including this Yellow Warbler (above) and this Red-winged Blackbird (below). Also had Orchard Oriole and Baltimore Oriole (heard only).
The NJCF also helped to get the Celery Farm coffee-table book published. (Thanks, Emile and NJCF!)

I finally made it back to the Celery Farm today after an absence of almost 6 months. Absolutely amazing. I saw a huge (what appeared to be) snapping turtle, red wing black bird, Great Egret, Blue Heron etc. Great place!
