Mystery Revealed
The mystery flowers in the photo are Cardinal Flowers.
We had planted several in our backyard next to the Celery Farm a few years ago, but animals ate them and they disappeared — or were relocated down the water's edge.
They were a huge favorite of the local hummingbirds this summer. Next week: A real stumper!
