Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
My latest column in The Record is one of the Celery Farm's most fascinating birds. You can probably guess who he is by his lobed feet alone.
The column is here.

loved your column today. They are still at the farm moving about with the Hooded Mergansers. I was all alone at the farm for over 2 hours today except for the animals that I know were watching me. Lots of their tracks were still there.
The sky and clouds and sun and reflections in the water-amazing. Great shots of all.
Your pics are terrific.
Just love those feet! Great shots.
