Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
My column in The Record today, on Page L-4, is about Turkey Vultures, arguably the most incredible — and disgusting — raptor of them all.

“Disgusting” is an anthropomorphic judgment. This bird is a wonderful example of adaptation.
