Massive Fish Die-off @ Celery Farm
A huge thank you to the volunteers who pitched in today to remove all those dead fish from the Celery…
I wrote about Northern Flickers for my column in The Record and Herald News today. The flicker here was photographed this spring drumming on my neighbor's chimney cap.
I have seen them in the past week — mostly on the ground, looking for bugs.

We’ve had a few around our condos this year for the first time that I can remember. They were having a field day with all of the ants. Great birds. I often see quite a few of them at Darlington in Mahwah, too.
