One of Allendale's Red-shouldered Hawks stopped by on Monday to:

• Wish a happy birthday to Stiles Thomas, who turns 99 years old on Sunday.
• Remind me to let folks know I will be doing a free Zoom talk for the Bergen County Audubon Society about the Red-shouldered Hawks of Allendale and beyond on Jan. 10.

Stiles has followed these birds since the 1930s. Wow!  (I'll include a video and some archival pix of Stiles in the talk.)
