Muscle Wanted To Put Bridge Back On Footings

IMG_2699

You've heard about old-fashioned community barn-raisings. How about participating in a new-fangled bridge-raising at the Celery Farm?

The northernmost bridge at the Celery Farm (built not long ago by Ty Pennington as an Eagle Scout project) got knocked off its footings during Thursday's torrential rains.

We want to put it back on its footings, and we need your help.

We are gathering at 2 p.m. Please wear waterproof boots or waders and bring prybars or any other tools that might help lift the bridge back into place.

Best place to enter the Celery Farm is at the end of Commerce Drive (off Boroline Road). You can park along Commerce Drive.

(Ty is also recruiting some scout friends. Thanks, Ty.)

For planning purposes, please let us know if you are coming…

Thanks!
