More Moths from Outside Fell House
Common or Birch Angle (difficult to tell apart)
In preparation for Moth Night on Thursday, July 26, Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and I did another test run the other night.
We saw at least six species, pictured here and identified with the help of insect expert Wade Wander (thanks, Wade!)
Also throwing in an awesome beetle we saw. Sorry for the one fuzzy pic — real thing not that fuzzy.
Hopefully, ths is a sneak preview of Moth Night.
More information on the event — and how you can reserve a spot — is here.
More photos of moths (and a beetle) follow.
