More Flooding — and How You Can Help

The path to the Warden's Watch is again under water — the latest culprit being last night's rains. Other parts of the trail are under water as well.

Since last spring, the Allendale Planning Board has been considering an application to build three new homes on Ivers Road, on a property that already floods. Twice as much more stormwater run-off will be generated by all the the new impervious surfaces.

Please attend the Allendale Planning Board meeting at 8 p.m. Monday night at Borough Hall and show the board how concerned you are about the current flooding — and how upset you are that they are considering a plan that could make it even worse.
