Hats off to Sally Teschon for finding out more about that painting by an anonymous artist the was the basis for last week's Monday Morning Mystery.

Sally found a book on Google Books — "A Southern Collection" — that discusses the painting and attributes it to a Southern Impressionist, George, Woltze.  The painting was done in 1889, in a locale thought to be New Orleans.
