On Monday I wrote:

Saw these two at High Mountain a little while ago. Can you I.D. both?

Several folks responded correctly: Butter & Eggs on the left; American Witch-hazel on the right.

Diane Van Kempen added:

Common toadflax and witch hazel (I assume the native one, if it was blooming in October or November).

The toadflax would appear to be invasive.
