Monday Morning Mystery Solved

    This a Prickly Pear Cactus, and it is the only cactus native to New Jersey. (A thank-you to The Nature Conservancy hike leaders who pinted this out.)
    More on this plant here. The "harmful plants" site notes that the plant is "a problem for bare feet." Who knew?
