    The latest Monday Morning mystery featured a Muskrat Lodge (above), fox tracks, and some fox scat atop the lodge.
   When we clean out the Wood Duck boxes each winter, we typically find scat or owl pellets atop the lodges. We are thinking that the top of the lodges provide safe roosting/sitting spots abovethe ice  and provide nice views of the marsh.
