Monday Morning Mystery Answered

On Monday, John Pastore writes:

Most people know the Celery Farm was once a working farm (or two).

What most people don't know is that you can still find evidence of crops that have hybridized into new forms.

For example, there are now "Celery Farm tree string beans" that have morphed from the more traditional crop once grown there (on left).

And most of us are familiar with Persian Limes, Key Limes and Kaffir Limes.  But less well-known are the very rare "Celery Farm Lime"  (on right).

What are they really?

The answers:

The Celery Farm Tree String Beans are from a Ctalpa tree, as Deb Endresen pointed out.

And the Celery Farm Limes are from a Black Walnut,  as Sally and Wayne Teschon and Rochana said.

Congrats to all!
