It is Fred (Hairy!)

The feather markings made me wary,
But the size of the bill makes me think it’s a Hairy.
The gender is another story,
But the lack of red says its name is not Fred, but maybe Lorrie.
In any case, it’s a handsome bird, beautifully photographed.
Carol: Definitely not a plane or Superman 🙂 -
