Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
I guess this is kind of easy, but I like the photo.

The photo was taken a few weeks ago, in the parking lot on the Franklin Turnpike. No climbing involved.

Liriodendron tulipifera — one of my favorite scientific names.

PS. My VERY favorite scientific name is Liquidambar styraciflua, but I don’t think we have a specimen of it at the Celery Farm (or do we, DeeDee?)
